As always, nice to read your blogposts. Great areas your are no moving in to, inner parts of Troms. Except for Altevann (croweded with cabins), it is of of my favourite areas in Norway. Like the area around Vouma, Dividalen, Daerta, Rossdalen and more!

In 2006, I met some entusiasts from the swedish tourist association at Polnosstugan. This cabin has/had only a status as a shelter, but they were trying to get it in a better shape by undertaking much needed repairs. As I understood, the association did not grant much money for a cabin like this (just a few thousand kroners) and that was a real headace. "A long way to Stockholm" they noted, "not much we can do". As well as pointing out that the Norwegian sister-associations cared alot more for they're small and remote cabins. I find it also quite odd because of the relatively cloze proximity to Bjørkliden and Abisko. Lappjord-cabin is really nice, and I totally recognize the steep accent the last hundred meteres.
