Hei James.
Congratulations for having conquered the demanding Tanafjord in a hard battle! We have been following you early on yesterday waiting for the GPS-mark to come up on the spot map, feeling relieved. You are a brave man!
You definitely made the right decission to use the short weather-window for comming accross the fjord during the night. Yesterday morning was fairly windy. Today Thursday it is blowing and raining at the same time. And the wind will stay on for some days according to yr.no. Enjoy yourselves in Gamvik and Slettnes. Don't get lost in the mulder of bars and nightclubs!
Cheers Dieter
