Communications
I will be taking a mobile phone and a very small laptop. With these two devices I would hope to be able to send regular updates to a website. Hopefully I will be able to upload daily thoughts and events 2 or 3 times a week. In addition there will be someone managing the website. He will be able to upload some photos and the occasional video as he receives them from me by post.
In addition to this I will be taking a SPOT device. This is a satellite tracking device which sends an regular signal via satellite to the google map on this website. This is an automatic event. So you will be able to track my progress or see if I am having a day off. This device will double as an emergency beacon to alert authorities.
